Use the type that matches the commitment

Renewal Vista includes Insurance, Warranty, Lease, Equipment Lease, Managed Service, Service Agreement, Security Service, Infrastructure, Telecom, and Professional Services types. The type labels the work; the record still carries dates, cost, vendor, and owner.

Cancellation windows matter here too

A policy or lease often auto-renews unless notice is given. Store the renewal date and cancellation deadline separately, set auto-renew status, and give the owner time to review coverage, terms, and cost before the window closes.

Keep evidence with the obligation

On Standard and Business, store the policy, lease, or service agreement beside the record. Confidential items follow the same access rules as other renewals, so a sensitive policy is not mixed into a company-wide list by default.
