Set days on the renewal
Each renewal has its own reminder timing. Defaults are 90, 60, 30, and 7 days before the renewal date, and 30, 14, and 7 days before the cancellation deadline.
- Open a renewal on a Standard or Business plan. The Reminders section appears on the record.
- Enter Renewal reminder days as comma-separated intervals, such as 90, 60, 30, 7.
- Enter Cancellation reminder days, such as 30, 14, 7, when a cancellation deadline exists.
- Add extra reminder recipients if other people besides the owner should be notified. Enter user ids, comma separated, in Extra reminder recipients.
- Save the renewal. Saving is what creates or updates the reminder schedule.
Check delivery
Open Reminders in the signed-in app to review upcoming sends, delivery history, retries, and failures for renewals you are allowed to see. Filter to one renewal from the renewal page when you need that record’s activity.
- Open Reminders from the main navigation, or use View reminder activity on the renewal.
- Treat a reminder as a prompt to open the record, not as proof that someone decided.
- If email reminders are not on the plan, keep using Dashboard and Needs Attention until you upgrade.
